Charlie "Chico" Rouse, Jr.

CEO / Producer / Entertainer / Educator

I have many cherished memories of watching my father perform on stage. He possessed a rare ability to captivate audiences with his smooth, soulful sound and seemingly effortless musicianship. I felt an immense sense of pride as his son and always regarded him as both an artist and a role model.

As I grew older, I came to better understand the sacrifices my father made in order to pursue his passion for music. He spent long periods away from home, touring extensively and performing at clubs and festivals around the world. Despite the demands and challenges of life as a touring musician, he consistently found a way to balance his professional commitments with his responsibilities as a husband and father.

Having a front-row seat to my father’s career was an extraordinary privilege. Through his example, I learned invaluable lessons about hard work, discipline, and dedication, as well as the importance of pursuing one’s dreams with integrity and perseverance. He instilled in me the belief that I should always strive for excellence in whatever I choose to do and never abandon my passions.
